1073.04 flow on a 100g tank

Hi Roger,
I'm in the middle of designing my 100g tank (36x36x18) and was wondering what the flow would be with the 1073.04 at approximately 4 ft. head? Do you think a 1" bulkhead drain would be sufficient to handle the flow or should I go to a 1.5" drain? Thanks.

If the pump is used submerged there is an adjustment on the front of the pump. If used inline this adjustment is removed to connect the hose nipples and then the flow could be adjusted with an inline valve.

Without the nipples attached for tubing, the measurements are 4.6 * 3.7 * 2.9 inches. The nipples screw into a 3/4" FPT hole so you can also attach PVC if you wish.

The pumps come w/ a 3/4 mpt>hose barb adapter for intake and output side. "O" rings are included as well.

If you wanted to hardline the plumbing w/ pvc you would use a 3/4mpt> pvc slip adapter.

Hope I uderstood the question correctly

Oops, just realized the fitting you have listed on top is the same as the fittings supplied w/ the pumps. Similar to the ehiem fittings w/ the "O" rings.

Thanks Chad. Yeah, it looks like I dont need anything extra. I'm just going to use the hose barb and attach a vinyl clear hose to the return.
