Jarred,
Have the firefish in my 20 gallon-no way can I catch him..... but now have 2 peps in the 10gal, new branching frogspawn(love it) , ric, and transplanted gsp, sinularia, and mushrooms. I only have the whisper filter for now and a Koralia....My filter turns light brown within 3 days. I keep rinsing when I am not running carbon filters.....are you seeing the same in yours?
I am good on parameters and water changes but still pull junk out on the sponge....


with the bio wheel, how is the flow output? If I bought the AC50, I can trim down the flow....or go with the bio wheel....(no wheels of course)

yea when i pulled the sponge out it always had stuff on it, i took the whisper off and added another biowheel for more flow and everything is working great.
im picking up a frogspawn tomarrow!!!

I was worried about chem warfare with the frogspawn....bought it from bluewater reef in Ormond last week.......nice store..I was cautioned online to place it 6 inches away from other corals....it is nice looking. Let me know how yours behaves please.

6 inches? i have some that's only 2-3 inches away from my zoas[which seem to be doing fine] and a toadstool leather[which isn't fully expanded]. humm...:sad2:

FsihNutty, some suggest 3 inches, other sites up to 6 inches of space for the frogspawn....not worried yet. Shrimp like it

i got frogspawn, war coral, purple mushrooms, green stripped mushrooms and some kind of polyp! i got a few other things but they went into my 29g tank.

i guess ill put some pics up tonight! gotta upload them to photo bucket first
