my pep died within one[?] week of going in the ten gallon..... :(
i keep trying to come up with more ways/places to put corals too :D

I had 2 young Peppermints put in 2 weeks ago. The less aggressive one died 5 days ago, and the other died 2 days after. Fed them 2x daily. Water test fine, corals good....wondering if the frogspawn stung them? ...hermit and snails ok....I saw a 1" bristle worm(darker band in the center) crawling on my glass during the day yesterday....at least that's what I assume it is according to ID pics of them.
I feel like I have failed them. Never had problems with shrimps before in my other tanks....now I might think I need to keep working with a larger tank. Feel bad if I messed up, but don't know what I did wrong except a 10% water change might have shocked them.....which I do weekly.

twelvejewelz nice tank! i havent had any problems with it anymore so ill just let it be.

yesterday i picked up a ricordea yuma and guess i got one that began to bleach...

My Ricorda won't stay open... I am tagging along on this one....my lights are only 36W on the NEP18"...and they don't make the 18" anymore.....so now what?
I moved the Yuma around- and I was told it doesn't need to be fed......

i feed my ricordia raw deli shrimp i keep it in freezer and once a week i cut up some tiny pieces of it and feed it to my ricordia, frogspawns hammer torch candy cane ... anything that will grab it really some of my mushrooms turn into a bowl around in and close up totally and my ric does too

i will put some pictures up of the kings we cough

tanks looking great jarred really coming along wonderfully .just a though though be careful where u put the shrooms cause once they start spreading the'll be hard to maintain and they sting alot of corals. You may want to keep them contained if you plan on adding other types of corals you know. Take a look at my 10 on the second page i added a bunch more pictures. The GSP will spread all over as well if you add that and i regret not keeping it contained cause its taking over my tank now and stinging all my zoas! I added some more sps as well and just got new bulbs today and i have to post some more pics tomorrow of the new bulbs. Your doing a great job so far. Im gona order an Auto top off in a few days you may want to look into it in such a small tank i get anywhere from a half gallon to a gallon evaporation daily so its a PITA to top off every day and it makes a big swing in salinity. people referred me to the Tunze osomator ATO and then youll only have to fill up a 5 gallon bucket once a week instead of every day . i think it would be a great investment!!

thanks for the nice comments

twelvejewelz im trying to make the tank mostly mushrooms so im not really worried about the other corals. thanks for the info though
