10g Nano FOWLR

Hello from across the Pacific (Australia)
I know i'm also only a newbie, but from what i've read having two clown gobies in a 10g might not be a good idea.

I would love to see your tank, I understand your issues with computers and lack of cash flow as I'm in the same boat because my GF conned me into buying a house.

Well...the reason I thought that it'd be more topping off would be because you have less water and it's evaporating....well nvm....i don't know what sayin' haha...

And yea....I guess Clown Gobies will fight with their own species..so nvm about that...haha.

I think I'm only gonna add a few more lbs of LR to my tank...just to make some more hiding spots...Now do I need a lot of light even if I don't have any corals or anything?

No you do not need much light at al in fact. Just a flourescent bulb if your not doing corals. For a 10g probably your best bet is puttin in 2 to 3 small fish. Like Gobies, clowns, damsels(even though i dont like them), royal gramma, Pseudocromis, and just about anything that wont grow over 3 inches is your safest bet in a 10g.

Why not try a Firefish or a Blenny.

I also like this Goby

Red Head Goby

I have one of these in my 72...best fish ever. LOADS of personality, and not scared of anything....I swear, he really wants to go through the siphon tube!

I know your hard up for cash, but if you try and save that little bit extra to get that fish you really want, you will enjoy your tank more. Thus you will watch and maintain your tank more often, increasing the survival rate for your more costly fish.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I SPENT ALLLL DAYY LOOKIN' FOR THIS THREAD I MADE!.....G'SSSSSSSS!....woofda....well anyways....since the last post...guess who gotta job....ME!!!!...lol...Yea...I have only one fish in my tank now...A three stiped damself named Betty Lou....and she is doin' GREAT...I've had her for about a month. Now I'm thinkin' of addin' somethin' special...like some Zoo's or some sort of easy coral or somethin'....what have you had personal luck with...even when you though everything might go down hill...that lil' sucker hung in there and proved hardy!

THANKS!
