10g Nano FOWLR

O jeeze, I haven't been on here in a while. I just had my 15th birthday on Saturday (YAY!). So now guess who has money! And about the whole petco thing....They can only be reliable sometimes.........Sometimes I have very good luck with them and sometimes I don't. They have clownfish on sale there and I'm thinkin' that I may get one.......I'm not quite sure. I got some thinkin' to do!

yes very cool...........GOOD NEWS........I just bought my first clownfish today! YAY! He is acclimating now..............wish me luck with this one! (he is a false percula)

Ok..........now another question.........I'm just wondering....could you run a filter in a nano the same way you run a filter in a FW tank.....just for extra flow and to pick up any floating debris?

I also just setup a 10g nano, but it will be a reef tank. but just remember, if you have more turbulant flow, you can keep debris in the water column, which makes it easier for the filter to catch.

i'ts funny, i'm going to be a freshman in high scholl thsi next year, what is it with high schoolers and 10g tanks? :p

ok...........I just noticed somethin' while I was cleaning the outside of my tank.........I was trying to scrub away these dots on the outside when I realized they were on the inside.....I looked closely at them and I think they are little feather dusters....there are a whole bunch of them all over the glass.

Today I bought a little filter to add some flow.....it's a whisper filter and I was wondering if i should take out the carbon thing or not?

run the carbon. i use a whisper filter too, and it's pretty useful. just be sure to rinse out the filter pad every 4-7 days and change the carbon every 2 weeks, then you'll be set

I was wondering if I should feed my clown something else besides flakes...because he seems to think flakes are "okay" and he'll eat them...but I don't think he likes them. What else do they like to eat?
