10G Nano @ Two Months, New Pics!

what kind of coral is that to the right? above the cleaner next to the bicolor

It's a colt coral, picked it up as a cutting from my LFS. I used the 'toothpick' method to get it to attach it my LR, took about 4 days. I would say it has doubled in size in the 1.5 months I've had it.

nice tank dude... one question... whats your clownfish's name? i dont know why this matters... i guess i just love maroon clowns a little too much

he just means poking a toothpick through the base of the coral and into the rock in a few diffrent spots. this secures the coral to the rock as it attaches and by the time the wood rots the coral is attached. it works well with meatier soft corals.

your tank looks great for only being two monthes matured. lots of soft corals. i was wondering what kind of lighting you have on that tank? and if you have a plan for fish after the fish you have out grow the ten gallon?

The method I used didn't actually involve piercing the coral, just using the toothpick to wedge the coral in a rock until it took hold, then just remove the tooth pick.

Thanks for the compliments, I'm running a 96W 6700k Coralife CF quad-tube. Honestly haven't considered long term housing, I'll let you know when I figure it out!
