I am in the process of setting up a 10g reef for my nightstand. It is a standard 10 gallon tank with a 1 in sand bed, modified ac70 5 lbs of pukini dry rock and 2 par30 boostled bulbs for lighting. I was thinking mainly zoas and maybe and lps or 2 for coral what are some interesting fish I could have for it. I already have a 90 gallon reef in my basement just want something nice and relaxing for the bedroom.

a pair of clowns, royal gramma, or any really listed above. If you get clownfish, buy them together, otherwise they may not get along. I tried that and had to take the new one back to the store .

A royal gramma that is added to a system with previously established sexy shrimp should pose not threat. But adding sexy shrimp to a system with an established gramma is just asking for trouble. Yes they are peaceful fish, but yes they can also consume shrimp larger than you would imagine......

With a 10g I would really only consider little Yasha goby and pistol shrimp combo. No fish that swim much. Give the goby/shrimp combo free reign. They are jewels anyway, aren't they?
Lots of rics, acans and zoas/palys, and a koralia nano 240
