115 Gal and Streams

Hey, my tank is 60"x24"x18" and i'm looking to buy some streams.
I'm on a budget so I would like to buy 1 powerhead at a time and a multicontroller later on. Right now I have softies but will be going the SPS route when I get the equipment set up. Let me know what you think.

I have 2 6000's and a multicontroler and love them in my 110 same dimentions as well.

Alright, thanks for the reply. Out of curiosity, can the 6080's be outfitted with a multicontroller? Just wondering, they seem to have a little more flow and be in stock.

Only the 6000 and 6100 ccan be controlled. These pumps run on a low voltage computer controlled system and the 6060 and 6080 are just standard non controllable synchronous motors which means they run at line frequency of 60Hz. The ideal would be 2 6000's and a multicontroller as the 6000 flow pattern only carries 4ft, a 6100 may be a bit much. You could also use the synchronous pumps but would need a Seaswirl or similar device to add random current since you cannot use the 6060 or 6080 on wavemakers.

Thanks Roger, sounds like I'll be going the 6000 route. Any idea what the wait is on these units? All the sites say to preorder. Can I get them from you??

I don't sell direct and if I had them the dealers would have them. I estimate 3-4 weeks at present.
