Just finished setting up my 115gal tank, 35gal sump/refug, AquaLife six T5 bulbs / 4 Lunar LEDs fixture. Going to have an Jewel Eel, Lion fish, and puffer, along with some basic corals for colors. I was concerned with the height of the tank for aquascaping, but I really liked how it turned out. Has caverns/caves and openings down low specificly for the eel.

Got the Volitan Lion fish a few days ago, it's a real beaut! He's a fat cat right now since he chowed on 4 ghost shrimp. It was his first meal since I put him in, just happy he ate.

Now my search begins for the Jewel Moray eel.

Thanks all!

It is 4ft in length, 19" deep and 30" high.

There isn't anything holding the rock in place, but it is very sturdy. I didn't have any sand at all in the bottom while I was aquascaping, which made a big difference in the structure integrity. I didn't do that with my 100gal reef tank, and it shifted. :(

I really like the CaribSea OceanDirect sand I used too. The fine particals are great.

Here is a pic under the stand and the tank with just the 4 LED Lunar lights on.

Look at that sump, so nice and clean!

Great looking tank, any thought on what corals for color?

man im jealous, sometimes i wish i had a 90 or 110 compared to my 75 and this is one of those times. i like the height of it!

Thanks for the compliments.

I got that sump at a great deal from someone locally that ordered it but didn't measure his stand correctly and when it came in, it would not fit. I love that thing, but I'm sure it will have a worn in look very soon. :)

As for corals, I'm thinking a few different colors of mushroom to start off with, a leather and possible some green star polyp. Something hardy, low-maintance and lower priced. Any suggestions?
I'm not really looking for too many fish, but just a few of the cooler ones, and of course an eel.

Well, almost got a YellowHead Moray Eel (Gymnothorax fimbriatus ) from a LFS. They had a very nice looking one and at a good price ($39) but was about full grown at 3ft in length. Decided not to for that reason as I'd like the eel to be smaller at first. Was quite a looker though, very cool!
My search continues.

so your settled on a yellowhead or just waitign for a good priced eel?

Never really considered a yellowhead eel, but after seeing one in person I'd be a happy owner of that species. I'd prefer to get one on the smaller side and watch it grow over time. I think the price they had that one at was dang good, especially for a LFS.

Imo, u don't usually see real nice rockwork on fowlr's, but yours is really really well done and looks great... great dragon eel BTW...
