12" cube mantis tank

Im putting together a 12"cube out of 1/4" acrylic, for a mantis tank, my main question is what kind of mantis can live in it. I know some get too big, is there any that can thrive in this size tank. Also do you think one of the aqua clear hob filter would be enough water movement i think they do like 300 or 500 gph, i plan on using LR, and the the hob for carbon, and other things.

With a cube you'll want to stick to a smaller mantis like G. smithii (highly sought after) or N. Wennerae. There are a few other small ones available just check em out here...

As for the flow, mantises aren't picky about it because they live in little caves but Id imagine they would prefer it low.

yea i would hope to get a G. smithii, but first i need to find some weld on, and get this tank glued up, i have everything cut and edges prepared, but no glue yet.
