12 Gallon Cadlights

I am thinking of buying this 12 gallon Cadlights Nano.

I would do the dual LED upgrade. Would that be a proper amount of light for some SPS, mainly Monti's? I would mostly do Zoas and Acans. I would add a Koralia power head for added circulation.

Does anyone have an experience with Cadlights?

I am looking for an all in one because I am a U.S. Soldier and I will have to move every 3-4 years.

Any input on this tank set up would be appreciated.

I've had one of these running for 4 years and the tank is great. Looks great and is very robust.

I don't have an experience with their new LED lighting since I have the earlier T5 canopy.

Do you have any pictures of your tank? I'm hesitant now because I found one review and it was bad because the guy got it and it was cracked. Then the customer service sucked. He also had it before the new lighting. I think with two LED fixtures it will be good for atleast LPS, and some Monti's.

I want a simple tank where I can have a fuge and hide my heater in the false wall. Trying to figure out the best way to hide the Koralia.

My main worry other than the customer service is my wife taking care of it for when I deploy.

I didn't have any issues with it shipping and customer service was okay, but that was back 4 years ago. Might look for a used one since many reefers get the bug to go bigger after a while.

The LED lighting you are considering is likely okay for most SPS. I only have 28W (T5 + LED) total over mine and I've got slow-moderate growth with Montipora, Leptastrea, Pavona, etc.

I have the 12 gallon tank, I actually just outgrew it and moved everything to a larger tank. But besides the poor lighting, I loved it. The newer lighting may solve the issue of poor lighting, but I wanted clams and sps and had to upgrade my lighting for that. But I loved it after I upgraded my lighting.

I've seen a couple threads on here where they came in broken before I ordered mine, but mine was packed very well. I think they fixed that problem after having to send out several new tanks again.
