About 2 months back we purchased an angler fish from our LFS not know much about them other than they are reef safe plus my wife fell in love with it! He's been living happily in are QT tank. As time went on we realized that it would not be a good idea to put him in are main display. So the other day we purchased a proper tank for him to live in because we like him so much! This is a little build thread so I can document the build!
After cleaning up the tank and soaking the everything in vinegar! I rewired the retrofit kit in the hood and made a light cover from lexan and to protect the lights from salt creep and help protect them from the moisture.
