- Modded stand to fit 120
- Painted back of tank black
- Built and installed Dursos
- Placed tank on stand
- Got 20 amp circuit in wall (need to hook up to panel)

not a bad couple days work

I hope to have fresh water flowing by Friday and Salt by Monday :-)

Chis, you bet I am excited!!!!

Carol, I prefer to look at it as a 33 1/3% increase in space, and that it nothing to shake a milli at!

Here are some pictures:

This is the stand in the room... I have only painted the wall behind the tank so far...

We are off to Epcot and Magic Kingdom... Have a great day!!!!

Bryan,

You ran your electrical yourself? Do you have a two story house? If so, did you have a crawl space in the ceiling above that room? I am curious how you fished the wires to the garage?

Cheers,
Chris

I have DI Water in the tank!

I have the tank filled up about 85% and have some of the rock I made in there. Plumbing is complete.

I plan on putting and and the rest of my rock in tonight and filling the system full so I can run the pumps for a while to test.

If tests go well, Friday I will add salt... Saturday I will put some live sand and live rock in to start seeding. And then it will sit and seed and cycle for a month.

DI water is flowing... so far everything looks real good!

If test continues to go well, Salt tonight!

I would post a pic, but it is a massive sand storm right now.

More goodies...

Refuge on left, deep sand on bottom, cheato on top
