Fitting description because you can see "her" in the back of the tank. Looks really good. What did you skin the stand with?

Any updates on the 120? Have you had any problems with algae blooms with the pukani BRS rock? I have a difficult time with phosphates in my nano with BRS rock.

same here Eugene, i'm having problems with the algae blooms and for the longest time i couldn't figure out where it's coming from. I kept on thinking it was from the new sand but i grabbed a hanna phosphate meter the other week to test out phosphate and it was high. I'll order some Rowaphos today to lower the phosphate, otherwise the tank is doing well. I switched out the Vortechs for Tunze b/c they were the loudest thing in the tank

I agree the Vortechs are the only real noise coming from my tank mainly in just wavemaking mode (NTS mode). I could not control the phosphates leaching from the rock with just GFO. I pulled the rock and put them in a kiddie pool (wonder where I got that idea) and used lanthanum chloride (phosfree). You could also drip lanthanum into a fine 1-5 micron sock. Let me know if the GFO isn't moving the PO4 down sufficiently and I can give you some phosfree. I believe the BRS rock definitely leeches phosphates, at least the pukani does. This was even after I soaked the rock, vinegar bath and toothbrushed the dried up dead stuff.
