120 Gallon Setup Has Begun

Thanks steelerfan. Is your tank still up? I can't recall.

The livestock buyer will be here today to pick everything up. After empty, I'll start parting out the hardware.

Kind of a sad day. Lot of hard work into this build. 9 year run of ups and down.

One thing I'm proud of is that the first fish I put into the tank will be sold today. A male gold stripedaroon clownfish who is part of a breeding pair. Sort of wished I had tried to raise the fry but I never gave it a go.
Wow, that is quite an accomplishment. No, sadly I do not have it anymore. I had it running in a part of the house that I would not frequent to much and with such little time on my hands I really neglected it so I ended up giving it to my brother who surprisingly has it in storage. I think I may end up talking to him and taking it back and have another run at it. Not sure yet. I do miss it so you never know. I'll keep you posted. Hopefully you will at least still be around.

I know this is an old thread, but I would love to see more pics/details of your build. I'm new to the hobby and about to start a stand build for a 48x36x18 build for a 90 gallon tank.

Your stand is fantastic!

I finally got around to adding a simple auto top off to this system. Brute trash can to hold ro/di water connected to the sump equipped with a kent float valve. So far, seems to work great.

No pumps or electricity. Hopefully it will remain reliable. Sure beats manually topping off the sump every other day.

Can you post links to the products you used, or at least product names? Thanks!
