I dont have one thats pressure rated, excpet for the Barracuda for $200, but this can run the skimmer & be a returm pump, & a propagation pump, & a chiller pump, &......you get the idea.

Sorry, I was mistaken on the type of skimmer that this was, as my tank is in my tv room I need an ultra quit style of skimmer.

the skimmer doesnt make noise, I think its more of the pump.

I'm not too thrilled with the yellow water that I bought. Me thinks that free was a bit over priced.

it only turned yello 'coz of the 5w Metal Cowhide lighting! :lol:
