sounds about right, moved around the regular green birdsnest pieces that i had to frag to different parts around the tank. also i had doubles on a couple more so they went to opposite sides. also broke off a piece of hawkins blue since its growing well. and put that on the other side towards the front. this will help fill empty spots. just dont want to do it too much since big colonies are the name of the game to me.

i was messing around with my refugium and its really grown out FAST, i gave a big handfull away when i started and got the bigger sized one. and the thing was full of cheato. kinda weird though, when i started with this clump from the 90 it had lots of feather dusters and caulerpa, so shifting thru what i was taking out, all i really see is cheato. what gives ?? anyways i used to feed the caulerpa to the tang cuz he loves it. but not enough to have soo little in the refugium. anywho. not a big deal i guess. but i really would like more caulerpa if anyone has some. or ideas why there is soo little of it now and no feather dusters in sight either. ?????

I have some caulerpa if you like. I grow that junk out of that stuff! It still is always in the back of my mind that it could go a sexual though.

It is frowned apon to have frags in different places of the tank. If you look at my tank i do no such thing!!!!!!!

K well did a 17g water change, mag was a bit low. will start to dose that now that i got my new test kit. thanks sparks. gonna do these so called water changes frequently for a while longer. haha.

bout 1100. gonna test again after water change. but im pretty sure charlie had some mag. ill have to order the big jug later. and hey if i see the tank is doing great after these so called water changes then i will do them. it will either be alot of them or none. none of this just right stuff. or once a month stuff. IM ALL IN OR ALL OUT. haha.

I think you should do 100% water changes daily to see if that helps. Im just saying. LOL!

haha, well my rodi only produces 75gpd. so im sol on that one. plus that would be one big trash can, or a crap load of little ones. either way the misses would like that. haha

okay 96% cuz its a deep bed. and corals seem to be growin, no thanks to me not getting mag today. but monti cap growing well, even though i can figure out where to mount it really. found a good place for a piece i accidently broke off. ill test all params again tomorrow to figure out what the heck is going on with my alk, cal, and mag. one keeps vanishing faster than the rest and i think im doing a round a bout trying to catch which one is doing it to the other.

finally seeing some long stringy brown algae stuff on the sand. I actually take this as a good sign and will not change a thing. let it go thru its motions.
