120 stocking thoughts

I am trying to decide on my fish list. here is what I think I want for the 120. remember I am going to have about 8400gph+ of flow in the tank without counting the sump return. so here they are in no particular order. Obviously the PBT will go in last, or together with the purple. I want to have about 10 fish total, so let me get your thoughts.

a pair of Watanabei Angels
a pair of Black Saddle Back clowns
Purple Tang (small)
Powder Blue Tang (small)
Psychedelic Mandarin

I am undecided about adding these two;

Potters Angel
Sixline Wrasse

I am also toying with the Idea of a school of 6 Chromis.

Looks like a good selection. Some may say you will be overstocked but I think its just right even with the school of chromis.

I am not sure about the chromis, If anything I will add the sixline and the potters angel which will give me 9 fish. I want to get small sizes for the Tangs, and Watanabei angels, so I think i will be ok.

looks good to me thats what im going to put in my 150g i need to talk to you about you doing a sump with a BIG fuge for the 150 my old 90s not going to work for me so im going to sall the 90g notRR but can be if wanted

I say, instead of the Chromis, do some Anthias. They'll get about the same size and add some additional color. Also, you may want to add the sixline last with the mandarin in mind. My sixline harassed my smaller mandarin(male; he ignores the female). Of course, with the "Green Monster", I don't have to worry about it much anymore.

Yah, Cliff is right about the sixline. You might wanna rethink the sixline anyways. I have one in my 90 and that sucker wont let me have any other wrasse. My sixline may not make it over to the new 150 when its time to transfer livestock.

yeah, Plus I don't need anything jumping out, and I really want a mandarin... so besides anthias over chromis, what other small fish should I add?

I added two sixlines, I think i got lucky though and they are a pair, they stick together like glue and when i saw them the other day 1 had a really fat belly.
They never bother anyone and are always out hunting for stuff on the rock.
Thats fish for you, just never know what kind of attitude they are going to have.

scott had mentioned that... I thought I read that they are difficult to ship.... is that the case? are they pretty hardy?

I have a leopard wrasse I got out of Eric L.'s tank.
It has done great, eats and swims around doesn't seem to chase anyone or be chased really.
The big advantage was it was eating and healthy when I bought it.
If you can buy one and keep it in a quiet peaceful tank while it recover's from shipping I think you'd be happy with them.

does the cryptic look like a regular 6-line??? maybe thats what i have, they are small and I got them from you

hmmm. at least the selection for the 450/600 will be simple......

species tank! all tangs.... maybe even a few schools....... :D
