120g SPS -a-Palooza

Wow. Good purple on the desalwi. I have a Fiji desalwi as well, that doesn't have that much purple on the tips.
Nice!

Thank you, I have the ice fire about mid tank 275-300 par good flow seems happy there. The yellow that you think is a pikachu is actually a pink lemonade had for a few months hasn't really grown much prob cause have accidentally broken it off from its base a few times.

Over the last few days the abdomen of my harlequin tush has been swelling still eating like a pig and no signs of odd behavior. Not sure what's causing it or what action I should take.

Ouch! That does not look good.
Sorry I have no advice for you. Good luck!
I'm sure some more adventurous than I might try a needle to extract some of whatever is causing the bulge.. but not me..

The three most common possibilities are Dropsy, constipation, swim bladder disorder. if you have had him for awhile now then i would lean towards dropsy. regardless best step to take is catch the fish QT it and treat.

The scales are not generally lifted across the whole mid section of the fish so it's not a typical case of dropsy but there are some lifter scales.. looks more like a blockage to me or an internal tumor..

Same I don't trust myself with a needle

Thnx guess I don't think it's dropsy or swim bladder but anything is possible leaning toward some sort of blockage. I have been having to feed 2 sheets of nori to the tank cause he always takes the first one and swims around the tank until he fully eats it the Angels or tangs don't dare to mess with him.

If I can catch him will try to get him in qt or one of the frag tanks to try and get him on a diet. Think I may have to give him a dose of exlax[emoji57]

Working on a video update the display turns 1 this week

Nice!
Really good colours.
I'm amazed at how many fish and how many big fish you have in there without a spot of algea.
Where are you keeping n and p those days and what are you using to control them?
And how much food do you add daily?

Thank you

Yea the fish are getting pretty big going to have to move the Angels soon [emoji17] it helps that total system volume is about 400g so water volume and filtration isn't a problem for the bio load in the display.

N .25 P .06 but just noticed my Red Sea kits expired last April so new ones need to be ordered.

Filtration is handled by large Deltec skimmer, 65g refugium, cryptic zone in sump with about 50lbs of rubble and 3 of the large marine pure blocks. In another sump have chaeto and some more marine pure spheres.

The display gets feed a mix of frozen mysis, spirulina and ocean plankton 6-10 cubs a day. NLS pellets on auto feeder 4 times a day and a sheet of nori a day. The fish in the frag tanks and Fuge get about 3 cubes a day and pellets once a twice a day.
