120g SPS -a-Palooza

120g SPS -a-Palooza

Well considering I just sold my Powermodule, I think I'm going to get the dimmable one. It will make me feel better. Lol.
I have a 90 Gal. Do you think the 8x54 would be overkill, even if I have two of the bulbs actinic? I know 6x54 is enough(that was my Powermodule), but again I need to not feel like an idiot. For selling my Powermodule. Doh!!!!

Btw... Your and looks great! Can't wait to see your Hawkins & Aqua Delight grow up into colonies. :)

Kind of wondering this same question myself.

For a standard 90g tank the 6 bulb should be plenty but if was me would spend the lil extra money for the 8 bulb than you can pack the tank wall to wall with SPS.

So got this beast of a skimmer today Deltec TC 2060 next to 5g bucket for size comparison just need to plumb it in and let the skimate fly.

Total of 23 fish in 120g display total system volume of 300g.

Have another 8 fish spread out between 80g frag tank and 65g Fuge

What fish do you keep in the frag tank and fuge?

Frag tank has a convict tang, tailspot blenny and 2 blue damsels

Fuge has a orange diamond goby, algae blenny, valentini puffer and huma huma trigger

I take it you don't have any clams or zoos?

No Zoas in display and 1 maxima clam in there that is not bothered by the Angels or MI. I had a derasa clam that the MI tried to pick at and have since moved that clam to frag tank.

The Queen and French are my holy grail of fish :celeb1: 23 in a 120, wow I have 19 in a 250 DT and feel it's starting to look tight. Are your fish still juvies?

They are two of my favorite. I got both Angels as 1" juveniles about 8 months ago the queen is starting to show some color transition to adult and is about 3" the French is about 2-3". Most of the other fish I have had for over a year many for over 3.

I love having a heavily stocked tank with all fish to give it some movement and it's the first thing people always notice.

All the fish have their own hiding spots and aggression has been minimal. I have achieved this by feeding the tank heavily 3-4 cubes of frozen twice a day, sheet of nori once a day and NLS pelleted 4 times a day with an auto feeder. With all the bio load and heavy feeding my nutrient export has been sufficient.

Last set of test results from early today with
Red Sea test kits
P-.02 ppm
N-.25 ppm
