120V socket expansion

Last night my chiller got stuck on & found out the socket expansion is the problem. I looked around & it looks like it has been discontinued. What is everyone doing for chillers that pull alot of amps now?

Build a small relay setup that is controlled by the apex.

120 volt relay plugged into the apex EB8

Wire a secondary power source that is not coming from apex into switchable contacts on the relay base.

This way your apex is always switching the relay when ever your temp probe calls for the chiller to come on.
