I actually went fish hunting yesterday. I was tempted into buying a blue throat too, but I was scared he might fuss with the niger trigger.

So I bought a flame hawkfish. It seems like the niger trigger doesn't like the flame either.

Blue Throat coloration is off the chart, One the best calm triggers you can buy.

Please don't make this go Tile surfing lol.

I have some new additions too! will post on the other site.

Here's a couple of new pics of the trigger. He's the shyest fish I've had other than my engineer goby. He swims out with the fish but is still leary with people in the room. Probably another week until he's comfortable.

druluv, hawkfish can actually become more aggresive than your trigger once they get established.

It took me a few days but I finally read through all 14 pages, awesome stuff. You made a great recovery after the flame issue. The blue throat is beautiful. I'm about 7 months behind you with my 125g and I'll be ecstatic if it turns out half as nice. Keep sharing your experiences.

A trigger that is reef safe.. didn't know one existed. I bet that guy set you back some bucks. I also work on computers. Love to work for myself but getting the customer base and a nitch is what I need to work on :).

bigreddog, the thread has gotten a little longer than originally expected, otherwise I would have thought of a better thread title now that it's 2 months later. It took me 7 hrs to put the tank back together the day after the flame angel, wow that sucked.
Thanks for the comments and I'll keep updating, it's amazing how big and dense the corals are all getting, I can't even imagine a year from now.
Good luck with the tank.

bstear, there's a few trigger that are more reef safe than others as long as your willing to give up shrimp and crabs and risk snails and clams. He only cost me $41 after reef club and frequent buyer discount, one of the cheapest fish in the tank.
Getting a good customer base is the hardest part of any business.

Where is our 10 Months Update !!!! :bounce1: Do let us get postal up in here :uzi:

:D

I expect more from you Druluv, you're 3 days early, you don't even know my tanks anniversary.

What does suck is that I had to return my brother's camera today, I haven't replaced mine since the robbery. I'm planning on buying his but he's procrastinating on buying a new one for himself so I have to wait. I'll try to borrow someone elses to take some update pics.

Well, I found a few new pieces today, I got a steal on an ecinophyllia, red with yellow! Also a yuma rock, green with a purple base! and last an SPS piece that I've never seen, it's a wild piece, I hate buying wild pieces, but I had to get it. I'll post some pics whenever I get a camera.

Did you mainly start with colonies or frags?

I'm torn between adding established colonies or frags that I can watch grow. It's tough to decide.

greg i've been tryin for days now and can not figure out what fish you currently have in the tank. could you please give use an updated list of inhabitants?

Both, I was torn also, so I bought some of both. Most were smaller pieces.
