Ive upgraded from a 55g to a 125g tank a few months ago and have been adding fish. this is my first time having a tank of this size and wanted opinions on what, if anything else i can add. water parameters are currently stable with bi-weekly 25g water changes. i feed a mix of flake food, frozen krill, and frozen brine soaked with seachem metronidazole and focus. I use the seachem stuff due to a friends recommendation (not sure if necessary).

scopas tang - 4"
powder blue tang - 3.5"
humu humu - 3"
niger - 7"
zebra lion - 4.5"
and an invinsible chromis that was the first fish in my 55g (close to 2 yrs ago)

no aggression problems, but the lion i have to hand feed at night, as he is much slower than everything else.

Welcome to RC..
I would watch the trigger picking on the lion when he gets bigger. Also if you keep what you have, or stay coral safe you could add corals down the road if you choose.

I read the lion/trigger sticky immediately after i posted this. forum noob here:fun2: I think I'll remove the lion to avoid him being eaten/picked to death in the future. I do have some corals already(mushrooms, leathers, xenia etc) but they are secondary to fish for me, and they were all free.

I dont have any experience with larger wrasse, but im thinking banana, pink face or maybe a harlequin tusk as a last fish. its between those or a blue jaw trigger at the moment.Could this be too much for my tank?

Should be fine to add a wrasse or blue jaw - the latter depending on the temperment of the niger. That will top off your stocking list nicely.

Presumably you are aware how big the niger will get - at some stage you will probably need either a bigger tank or to move him on.

I worked at a place that makes large acrylic aquariums (http://iliketowastemytime.com/sites/default/files/aquadom_largest_free_standing_aquarium2.jpg). they've got a decent sized cylinder tank in their lobby that would take him when he gets too big/nasty.

The lion was removed to prevent him becoming a meal, aswell as the powder blue due to my scopas picking on him constantly. I traded them for a male bluejaw trigger, and what an awesome fish! After some initial territoirial fighting initiated by the niger, they are now buddies and share the same cave.
