12gal Aquapod fan problem

i have a 12 gal aquapod ...i bought it in Jan and now the fans are having trouble kicking on ...it takes a while for them to get going....should i replace them with better ones ... i lost the reciept so i cant' use the 1yr warrenty .....or can i ??? any answers would b good.....thanks

you can contact the manufactor....i believe this is an issue the company is awhere about and should warrantee w/o question...??
