At this point you might as well just show up. Although it is free to register, so why not. The registration I think helps organizers know how many people will be coming. That way they know how many people to expect. Since it is only 4 days away, I am sure most of the preparations are done already.

What time does the raffle start? do they normally sell out of tickets, just wondering b/c my tank isn't up and i really just want to come out to the raffle but don't wanna be there all day since i won't be buying any frags.. any info here would be great.. thanks

You are going to want to wait until the end then. The raffle is the last thing they do. You can buy tickets anytime during the event, but the drawing is not until the end. You have to be present to win.

Briney--the swap is at the American Legion. The info for the 8th swap, March 2005, is still up on fragswapper. This is the 12th swap. I will see if Erik can add more description to the tab for the current swap. In the meantime, go towww.c-sea.org for the current site info.

Jim_Leyland--the raffle will start at 3 pm with ticket sales until a few minutes beforehand.

There never was wrong info up on fragswapper. Info was up then down.
not sure how it eneded up down, I copied and pasted the info back up again.
Could of happened when I edited out the frags swap and made it frag swap.
Who knows, its up now though

Doors open at noon.
Admission is $5 per person (13 and under free). $5 gets you 4 feet max of table space. Electricity is provided but please keep the metal halides to 250W or less

Food is available in the attached bar (the cook is supposed to have more help this year!) Alcohol is served in the bar but may not be brought into the hall. By Ohio law it is a non-smoking facility.

Some saltwater spills are inevitable, but please let a C-SEA board member know if you have a big spill so it can be cleaned up.

Raffle starts at 3 pm. Raffle tickets are $1, 6 for $5. Bent or damaged raffle tickets will be discarded, not drawn (we can replace accidentally damaged ones). Must be present to win.

I just looked at this thread but don't have time to go through it all right now - but I was wondering - is there just coral frags at this event or will there be equipment (used or new) for sale such as lighting that would be needed to have a reef tank. Currently I have 2 tanks, both FOWLR but am ready to convert one to a reef. If I come out I would be looking for lighting and other equipment such as powerheads to make my tank a reef. Any equipment here or just corals?

Frag Swap is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your going to get.

People bring frags as well as equiptment whatever they want to sell and remember there is equiptment in the raffle as well.
