13 Watt Power Compact 50/50 :P

Can anyone tell me where i can buy these. All of the places by my house keep giving me a run around.. I see all these stores online but there not trustworthy.

Coralife makes a 2x9W 50/50 fixture, so it's close to the wattage you're thinking about. You can find it at any reputable marine eqpt dealer.

I have a pink/blue 13W PC bulb on my refugium. They're out there and I think that's pretty close to 50/50.

IF it's designed for reefs, the packaging should say so. Unfortunately I don't have the box anymore so I can't tell you what brand. If you do a search on the web, I'm sure you can do a little self teaching on what brands there are out there. A manufacturer won't claim 50/50 if they don't provide that. I buy my lighting from HelloLights.

there is a 10wtt coralife 50/50 PC and a 20watt, but i'm not to sure about 13 watt

Its the same bulb that is in the Eclipse hood but they make it in 50/50 and i cant find it.... It sucks cause the 10,000K i dropped at work trying to read the little numbers

Check out www.hellolights.com They have a 13w pc setup with actinic 03/10k bulb with a magnetic ballast. Heres the link http://hellolights.com/13wretrokit.html

The only thing you'll need to watch out for is the magnetic ballast uses a little more energy than an electric ballast and runs hotter. If you need just the bulb make sure it will work with the ballst you have to run it.

I have an eclipse 12 and was looking to upgrade the light. If I get this 50/50 bulb do I need to get the retro kit? Also there is a plastic cover, should I take it off?
