I have 144w of lighting in my BC29. What types of corals can I keep? Or more importantly, what type of corals can't I keep?

A few questions:

1. What kind of lighting? Metal Halide, PC, T5, VHO, combo of the previous?

2. How tall are BC29's?

If you share these facts about your setup someone can help you far better! :)

i have the 29 gallon bio cube too. how did you change your lighting to 144watts? i'm lame so a picture and step by step would be awesome.

i was running 144 on my 29, and was able to keep everything up to
LPS...softies, leathers, all good
Clams, only high up with supplemental feedings DAILY
no SPS they simply die, no matter how high
Was ALL PC's

I keep all softies and LPS without a problem. Zoos do well up high for best color. I use a lot of actinic to make the color similar to 20K. No SPS or clams for me though. HTH

Nanotuners.com has lighting upgrades for the BC29.
