Just a little information on the date change. I am sure some people are going to want to know why. The hall was booked all the way up till the 12th of April. We called today to setup our reservations and we were told that was the earliest available date.

Now onto the business that needs to be attended to...

We are going to need volunteers to assist with the operation of the swap. If you are not going to be trading or selling anything heavily at the swap we are asking for your support. Here is a list of jobs that need to be filled at the swap:

Ticket sales - 3 people
Membership Table - 2 people
Raffle setup - 2 people
Clean up - 4 people

Please contact Erik ( Kreeger1 ) or Myself ( Mike660r ) via PM if you are interested.

Some tid bits that I always think of after I am at the swap that I would like to send out now are:

- Bring plenty of towels

- GFS ( Gordon Food Services ) Sells cheap plastic containers and lids that are awsome to place frags in. I beileve 8 dollars gets you 50 containers and lids.

- Siphon hoses - If you are bringing a tank, this will help you out immensly at the end of the day with draining your trade tank.

- Small folding chairs

- Patience & a smile - It is always hectic getting into position and getting your area set up. Be patient and courtious to others around you.

Thanks for the words of encouragment.

The warmth of spring is going to increase the survival rates incredibly in my opinion :)

Hey Mike I noticed something that you might not be aware of. Our swap is not the 14th "annual" all-Ohio Frag Swap. That implies that it is done once a year and it has been going on for 14 years. We share the title of the "all-Ohio Frag Swap" with CORA in the fall.

So ours will be the 14th All-Ohio Frag Swap and their swap will be the 15th All-Ohio Frag Swap but both will be in 2008 so I guess it could be called a "semiannual" or "biannual".

Just thought I would put that out there before anything might go into print that would be inaccurate.

Great stuff brought up at the meeting last night. It was nice to hear some new ideas

Hey Kevin,

Thanks for pointing that out. I'll have to PM a mod to have that fixed.

Thanks for your input as well. I hope we can make some good out of all the comments to make the club even more enjoyable.

Don't park on the grass........

If for some reason you get stuck.... don't call a tow truck. Just come see me and we can settle up for a refreshment. :)

I'd like to pass on some information that was shared with me yesterday in reference to parking on the grass. Do not get close to the grass at all. The hall stated that they had to pay 800.00 to a landscaper to make the repairs to the lawn from last years incident. Hopefully we will have much better weather and we won't have to worry about the issue.

....or some of these

Dang I want to be there landscaper I could afford lots of corals with those prices. A rake some grass seed and 1/2 hour could of fixed the problem.
