awesome, what kind of screws and glue did you use? I plan on using the same PVC foam board to build my sump....

glue is regular pvc glue. Stuff you use for schedule 40 pipes. As for the screws i used drywall screws and made them i believe 1" long. I applied glue first and then screwed in the screws so squeeze the glue together.

Thanx for the reply! My build is gonna take me forever to accomplish! I dont plan on SW till I have all the eqipment I need and the want list too. One more question I cant tell from the pics....I may be an idiot too. Does the euro glass sit on top flush with the outside, or does it go below the rim flush with the top? Seems like it would be on top, but I really dont want 150 gallons all over the floor...wifey might just kill me! lol

It sits flush on top on of the glass on all sides. Hope that helps and 150 gallons of water on the floor would be awful!

Trying to find a supplier for the euro brace toady prved to be annoying. Price of glass locally would be double what I paid for the tank!
Hope you dont mind, but I am gonna completely steal your design! Awsome build and I hope someday mine looks that good and not a shattered glob on the floor!

Very nice. One of these days I plan on doing a DIY sump and reply bing the entire thing. Everything looks fantastic.
