I did like the aqua scape job, and it came out on the first try. (As he reaches around to pat himself on the back)

Yes it was late and Stephen has to get a new bulkhead today.
The tang is still hanging out a lot in the front corner with the clowns but is exploring. They all seem to like the mote except for the fire fish there is no telling where he is, as usual Ill think he is dead and then there he is.

I gotta go to Aquarium Architecture and see if the ABs came in I hope I don't come home with anything except light bulbs.
Its funny how I'm thinking of dropping $200 on 2 light bulbs that last a year but when it comes to spending $100 on a coral it is tough.

Greg did an awesome job on setting up the LR placement in Boydx6's tank. I really liked the way the tank worked out yesterday with all that rock. It makes me want to go buy a bunch of LR and have Greg come over as well 
I now feel like my tank does not have enough LR in it. I have between 140-160lbs in it now but it sure does not seem like it.

I ll make you a deal you come down for a weekend and we hang out with Chris and Laura for a day and you take some picks of my tank for me.
Ill foot the bill for food and drinks you pay for the ticket and what ever you spend at Aquarium Architecture.

About an hour and a half to 2 hours depending on which side of the city you are on.

I got most of the closet finished only because I was tired of having a pile of switches timers and ballasts lying in a pile, and I could not get to anything with out turning something off on accident. I needed to finish the plumbing for some reactors and the fuge and couldn’t do it with out knowing how much room I had to work with.
First the side frames got a piece of 1 x 3 glued and brad nailed in place for a ledge fro the bottom to sit on, and to hold the closet in place on the stand.
Then the side and bottom were cut from ¾ plywood and the side was mortised to hold the bottom, glued and brad nailed together. I took down the side frames and put the side and bottom piece in place.
Next came the side frames glued up clamped and brad nailed the bottom in place and let dry for several hours.
I removed the clamps from the side frames and glued the door jam in place and put all the clamps back and went to bed.
This morning I hung and adjusted the door, I had to move the door up from in front of the sump to the closet because it was a 1/8th inch wider and trim it down to fit.
This afternoon I built the shelf for the Fuge, I took down the closet and glued 1 X 1 poplar braces to the side framed and ran horizontal braces every 6 inches glued and clamped them in place, then drilled and fastened it all up with 2†drywall screws.
next I glued down the 1/2" plywood shelf and secured with brads. let sit for an hour or so and removed the clamps and lifted it in place.
I set up a 20 in place of the fuge that isn't built yet and added about 10 gallons of water to weigh the shelf down.
I'm going to hang the door now and go to bed.

Sorry Mike, I haven't gotten a good shot from the front yet, and the lights are already out. I gotta get the closet finished so I can finish the wiring mount and adjust the timers.
I don't have a pic of Stephens tank nor seen one yet.....funny he has a new camera.

In Reef Tanks nothing good comes fast. I'm going to take my time with setting my tank up again . Some things I want to do very different. Ted

There has been nothing fast about this build. I started working on the design 3 years ago, I've been collecting parts for 18 months and building the stand for just about 12 months now.
