I have a 72 bow now and my 150 will be in soon 60x24x24 I am going to use the 6000 stream from the 72 should I up grade it to a 6100? and get another 6100 or just use the old 6000 and get another 6000? This is a SPS tank and the plan for rock work is two islands with a channel in the middle to the over flow box.

I had a 6000 in my 60 gallon tank. My 150 is the same dimensions and I have two 6100's now (upgraded the 6000 to a 6100). I think you will be happier with the flow from the 6100's.

As long as your focus is SPS and you won't have a DSB, I would say a 6100.

Thanks Roger so you think a 6000 and 6100 would be ok for now? I would upgrade the 6000 I have a some point but for now to save money would like to keep it.

You can actually just buy a part 7410.602 and the 6000 can be turned into a 6100 for about $75.

I have the same dimension tank and actually thinking about adding a 3rd tunze, Currently All im running is a mag 18 for the return along with 2x6100 with controllers. The third tunze will come in the form of a backup for when the power goes but im currently looking into how i go about setting it up. IMO these pumps will work great for that due to there low enrgy consumption.
