150 watts for a ten

I would start with montipora cap and montipora digitata corals. They are cool looking, hardier than most and grow fast so you can usually find a frag of one very cheap.

As with all corals you will have a better shot if you get a frag from a friend, so you know the coral was tank raised, and not from the wild. Wild corals in general sometimes have a ruff time acclamating to aquariam life.

thanks for the help.

as for tank dimensions its going to be a regular 10 gallon that you can buy at any pet store and stuff. its going to have a side refugium to. i think the dimensions for the ten is 20inches long, 11 or twelve inches front to back and i think maybe 10 inches deep. not sure if those are right just a guestamate

I had a 175 over a ten, just make sure you can raise and lower it, a good fan for cooling is a must also. You will be able to keep just about any acro with that light (assuming all parameters are stable and where they should be).

I have a 10g with 175w about 10" off the surface and the temp holds about 80f stable water conditions with alot of work and I can keep just about anything with in reason for the tank size
