150gal Zeo

I am very excited today as I have been chosen as TOTM on another reef related fourm. There are some new pictures up there as well.

I have been slacking abit on my reef central thread, but promise that I will be updating shortly,

here is a link if anyone is interested in checking out my TOTM selection.

hello everyone, so i had some free time tonight, and took 14 new pictures, some of the pictures show my newer lay out, as I did remove 2 larger pieces of SPS, one was the yellow table, as well a blue stag that was on top of the scroll coral, it was replaced with a colony of pocci :inlove:
the last pic is a FTS you can see the blue really come out with the KZ super blues.

thanks for looking

john

really awesome man, love the fact that you have a tiny skimmer on such a large tank

thanks, alot of people tell me the same, its doing its job for the time being, maybe in the near future, i may upgrade and give that little guy a well deserved rest.

hey everyone, i had some free time tonight and took a few pics of my obessions, STYLOS AND POCCIS. I am starting to like the use of white balance more and more, as its giving hte true color of the coral, and leaves the blue tint behind

Such a pretty tank with very colorful corals!!!
You have some quality husbandry skills, many would say that lighting is not sufficient as well as your skimmer, way to prove that diligence, patience, and husbandry supercede that of all technology, your tank tells it all... Simply amazing!

Thanks man, I was on the fence the other day and almost turned to the MH side of things, it was pretty close to buying a MH t5 combo fixture, but I had a friend who said just wait and when you set up your new system in a year then go baller. hahaha.

I think your tank is worthy of a TOTM nomination.

WOW, thank you very much. The current TOTM is another local here in canada, and i have seen his system many times. And i have to say that the pictures do not giv eit justice. The whole system and thought behind it is amazing. some of my nicer frags came from Snappy.

ok picture time.

took these a few mintues ago, with the kz super blues in full force, this past bit i wasnt really feeling the color of the tubes, but the last few weeks, i am really diggin them.

for those who might have noticed the fresh epoxy in some of the pics, its from a kinda spring cleaning, i did take out a few large sps colonies, to try and increase flow in some areas, and it was successful. I am really pleased with the results.

well its offical, there is a new tank in the works to replace my current one.

here are the dimensions

72x24x20

abit longer than Sunny X ' s build, Thanks Sunny for the inspriation

Its going to be alot different than my previous tank as this one is being built to my liking. Its not awhole lot bigger than my current tank but aesthetically this tank has me stoked.

I have started to take out some very large SPS colonies to get prepared for this build, I will being some and parting with others.

Man that is a beautiful tank, some of those pics almost look surreal. Can't wait to see your new setup.
