150w HQI + HO T5 = 250w SE?

I'm having trouble deciding.
This is for a 24x24x12 inch tank. Tiny I know.

I'm leaning toward a 250w SE (20,000k) but don't think I can deal with the heat on such a small system without a chiller.

Would a 150w HQI with a 10,000k bulb + 2x24w HO T5's blue put out a comparable amount of light?


I'm planning on keeping the light atleast 8 or so inches above the tank, and of course, this tank is dedicated to sps frags.

Is it 12" deep or 24" deep. If it is the latter than the 250W. If it is only 12" then I think 150DE w/T5s would be good.
