Here is my official build thread. New tank is a lee mar custom build purchased from Charlie and the Fish Tank Factory in Long Beach. He offered the most reasonable price compared to the 8 shops I tried. Super easy to deal with, only negative was driving down and back to pick it up. Its a long way from Tahoe to Long Beach, but the drive back with a new tank is a little nerve racking. You feel every bump.
Well the new tank measures 54 x 30x 24 comes out to 168 gallons. It has starfire front and sides, a single corner overflow and eurobraced. It will replace an existing 120(for sale cheap).
Im in the process of finishing up the stand this week, have to make doors and a canopy.

Heres the beginning of the stand and sump 40x22x17. Also ordered from Charlie. The stand was framed in 2x4 and 2x6 then skinned in 3/4 birch plywood. Painted the inside in Kilz and used a black gloss poly on the outside.
Sump was broken up into 3 sections, skimmer fuge or frags and return.
Back of the tank was painted black using rustoleum Gloss black.
