Hahaha..ok, cmon....4 posts? I have stuff to sell, and have plenty of posts but only been on 60 days. Is there no leeway for a paid member to sell, especially when they contribute (either bad or good) to the forum? this is, after all, our club forum section and not the general reefcenteral forums. Just a question here.

We don't make the rules they do RC! We just have to abide by them. They don't cut no slack that I'm aware of.

Actually the RC mods don't ussually drift into the club forums most of the time unless there is a lot of dramma always happening in them. Which they have been know to shut club forums down for out of controll bickering in the past but we are a great group and not much of that ever happens in this forum if ever.
As for for sell and not meeting the 90 day/50 posts rule is mostly to keep folks who registar user names to just use RC as a store front to market there goods directly to a specifis market in there local area (local reef forums) or a market nationwide in the selling forums with no intentions of actually contributing or learning from RC. I think a newly paid member in good standing who is new to the club and RC is cool with being a few posts shy

I agree with the rules for the most part since RC has such a huge amount of folks to oversee and moderate they just have to blanket govern everybody with no exceptions or everyone would be arguing for exceptions. I personally have been gigged more than once selling things and was totally not doing anything wrong but fell under the blanket rule and had no real problem with my posts being removed. Once for selling enkamatt (no mass sellers) even though I was just selling for exactly what I had in a bulk order to help folks out and once for selling a peice of equipment "for a freind" who I gave the ATO to and totally did everything to her tank including bought everything, maintnance and all so it was like my tank at her house :lol: it still was pulled but then again they were both in the GENERAL selling forum wich is monitored pretty heavy .
I think Bill may have just been giving you a heads up that threads have been pulled a lot falling under that rule and not being the selling thread police You know I LOVE YA BILL......After all "My name is Bill...and.........." Bill knows the rest of my saying for him :lol: My kids love papaw Bill

........ Sorry if you are and we thought you were just trying to blanket post to sell something!I live in Alabama, Huntsville actually but I manage farms in Shady Valley TN and Central TN. So I drive through Knoxville and Nashville on a constant basis specially during the summer, I ussually stop by fish stores on my way back home and I guess I figured i could start hanging out on the reef club forums and get to know people there. Sorry if I ofended any one not my intention at all. You all have a blessed time and reef hard!
