$18,000 in Gem Tangs in one shot 500g tank

Also, you will see more..........believe me ..........there are people making too much money on them to not see them again.

I really don't see why anyone would pay that kind of money for a rather drab looking tang.
I guess so they can tell everyone they know how much they cost??

A 40 dollar yellow tang will get much more interest from most folks who see the tank.

And my $75 Bowers Parrotfish gets everyone to comment.
The 8" Vlamingii goes just about unnoticed BTW.

To each his own I guess..........

NAGA,
I would love to see some pics of your current tank if you can spend that much on fish alone!!
Any pics of the 750?

Razzagas,

there are a number of pics floating around of my tank. Take a look in the large tank forum and you should see several there.

What makes them so expensive? Do the people that catch them like have do stay in a decompression chamber for a week or what? Sheesh!

This thread reminds of when I went to a fish store by the name of tongs of in Fountain valley they had just got in a small gem, and while admiring there duel 500g (i think) display, I watched the poor little tang get sucked up and stuck on the tunzee!!!! Luckly, I called the guy over right a way and the killed the tunzee, the fish seemed stunned but unharmed.

....never seen a fish store owner run so fast :)
