180 for $1800 good deal ?

Hey guys the LFS has a 180 starfire tank on 32" stand with canopy. comes with light fixture 3 250watt and pc actinics return pump, not sure of brand of skimmer that looked a lil small, sump, all plumbing, everything is just under 2 years old I know the owner of the lfs really well and he is very honest. all for 1800 is this a good deal, great deal, or should I pas at that price.

Price the stuff out individually and see what % less than new the cost is. If you think it's worth it, buy it.

The tank alone would retail for more than that. I just got a quote for a 125 custom starphire tank which came out to be more than 1,800. It's definately a great deal.

I priced out a 180 from mirackes and well it was much more than that so I think it is a good deal grab it!!!

my 180 cost with polished low iron glass was around 1300...built the stand myself though. You're getting all that for only 1800...I'd buy it!

It's definitely a great deal, but make sure it holds water, doesn't leak and is structurally sound.

Otherwise, it may be cost you more to fix between time and aggravation.

Man, think about this. You get all of that for 1800 dollars. How can you even debate turning that down? Starfire tanks generally come for more than 1800 dollars, let alone with filtration, and lighting and everything you got offered. Take the deal!
