Our new 180gal is almost full of RO/DI water, we'll be adding the salt tonight! I can't wait!

Ha, thanks! It took me about 2 months to build the stand, I wanted to make something absolutely bulletproof (and safe). I also (my wife made me) built a room in the basement for the tank since our basement is unfinished. Here are some photos.

Are you using the LR from the 55gal or are you getting more?

Hi Gtstricky. I'm actually going to get all new live rock. My 55 gal was an old fish only tank and is long gone. The equipment consists of a Lifereef sump and 36" venturi skimmer, tunze 6045 circ pumps and visitherm sub heaters with Ranco controllers. I wired two circuits (both GFI) into the stand in a separate chamber that is sealed off (also sealed with silicone) so no water could get into it. Lighting is two 36" nova extreme pro T5's. I'll try to get more pictures for you tonight. Fizz71, yes you are right it definitely gets worse!
