180 gallon build... Where and how much to drill?

For my 180 gallon tank, I've ordered a Reeflo Dart overflow kit rated to drain a reeflo dart as a return pump. It uses 2x 2" bulkheads, so it's VERY capable of running lots of flow. The overflow box will be mounted on the SIDE of the tank, as this is going to be an in-wall tank.

Aside from the flow-through debate on sumps, I think I'm going to either use a Reeflo Dart or Snapper. Looking at around 2000gph with head give or take which pump I decide on using. Now for the returns... What should I do?
I have already ordered 4x 3/4" bulkheads and was planning on doing 4 3/4" returns along the back wall. Would this be adequate? Could I get away with 3? Or just do all 4? Is 3/4" big enough, or should I do 2x 1"?

I already have the materials and hole saw for the 3/4" returns and I figured it would be enough. 2000gph/4 holes is only 500gph coming from each 3/4" return. If I do 3 holes, that's roughly 650gph per hole. Still not overtaxing a 3/4" bulkhead I wouldn't think?

BTW, it's an Aqueon 180. It's safe to drill, correct?
I contacted Aqueon and they never got back to me, but from what I've read on other boards I didn't think it was a concern.
