180 in wall-Out with the old in with the new

Thanks!! It is 72X24X24. Chris I will stop down today and get it from you. I lost both my clowns to the overflow once they made it to the sump a stupid crab got a hold of them. needless to say the crab is now a sewer crab!

lol. trust me i am always digging my clowns out of my sump, ( i think they like the thrill of going down the drains, like an amusement park ride)

I will post new pic's this weekend of the tank. It is looking a lot better. I have added about 300lb of rock. 1 250 MH a barracuda pump for the closed loop and some other stuff. I will be moving the Dart as a return from the sump. I also have a older skimmer that I will be pluming up this weekend.

Some updated Pic's. I would have posted them a couple weeks ago but I was without power for a week. I had the tank running on a generator and did not turn on the MH. Everything turned OK.

More Pic's to come

i know you lost some stuff due to the massive power outages in the area but if you want me to give you a hand plumbing in the frag tank and build ing a rack for the sump lights let me know

Just replaced the old magnetic 400watt MH ballast with 2 400watt E-ballast and 1 10k bulb and 1 20k bulb. I might be replacing the 250 MH in the middle with a 400watt MH. I also just got my 150gal per day OR DI water filter from Air water and ice. I am so sick of getting water from the pet store!!!!!! I will post some pic's tonight. I have added a lot more rock also. Getting ready to hook the Dart up to the return and possibly also running that pump to my frag tang. still trying to figure out how much flow my drains can handle on the tank first before connecting it to the frag tank. tattoreef "Chris" thanks for offering your help. I will let you know

I noticed you don't have any access t the tank from the front. That hasn't caused any problems? Seems like aquascaping from the back would be a challenge.

Thanks guys! I got the big acro from Mike Miller along with all the other acro's. Not having access from the front is challenging but I was wanting to make it look like a big picture on the wall. I have seen some others that have the top part of the wall lift up but I wanted more of a cleaner look. I learned from having my 125 in the wall not to paint the back of the tank! It helps out a little when you are able to see in from the back of the tank. So I just put a black background that you get from the pet store on the tank. I have everything to get the frag tank setup. I am going to use a Little giant pump that I have laying around instead of tapping into the dart return pump. I really like all the flow I have in my display now.

I got a new toy!!!!!!!! I bought a AquaC EV-400 with a Pan World pump today. I have it almost setup. It should be up and running tomorrow. Also The frag tank should be finished tomorrow I hope. I will post some pic's

See if I got the skimmer setup correctly. I left the hose long because I was thinking about moving the skimmer to the other side of the sump but if you think if should make it shorter I will. This is pic's of it running for about 30 min. I recently turned it off to add Algae gone to the system. I am trying to get rid of the purple algae now. Plus a great chance to do it since I am going to have to do a large water change to drill another hole in the sump for the retune pump that goes to the frag tank.
