180 plumbing help

I'm getting a Marinland Corner-Flo 180. The bulkheads for both the return and drain are 1." It comes with durso drains.

My questions is how do I make this tank quiet as possible? What options do I have?

I've been doing the same type of research, and with a set up like yours I would confided a Herbie style. Only issue would be that you would have to plumb a return over the back. You could also just make a durso pipe. Both are fairly easy. Just do a search in the DYI section. Good luck

The durso standpipe that comes with the marineland corner over-flow is pretty quiet. depends how much water volume you'll be turning over via return pump. I find my return pump, ballasts, and skimmer pump are louder than the corner over-flow
EDIT: assuming you're talking about water/gurgling sound

do the herbie 2 drains, 2 emergency overflows, and return over the top

My 2 drains come over the top in the middle.

Bump.

I think i'm going to attempt this herbie style on my cornerflow tank with the return coming from the middle. any tips/pointers?

Did you increase the size of the pipes after the bulkheads? Did you plumb them into one after the bulkheads?
