That skimmer is way cool and a really great price. Renee says she needs to kill you. You are getting ideas in my head. lol I think that you have a good idea for the bang of the buck. Maybe one day I can put an Orca on it. The DArt needlewheel. lol

i like that skimmer. Even right out of the box it seems to perofrm well. Yesterday I had to pull out the the scrape piece of acrylic that Eric gave me. It still leaked after I glued it in. So we decieded to just put silicone in the old bulkhead hole and squash the scrape piece on top of the pile of silicone in the hole.

Dan, do you have some leaking on your bulkheads? Is it on the bottom of the tank?

I used to have four holes in hte overflow. I am using three of the four as drains. I used a plate to cover the hole i am not using. It leaked.

why not use a bulkhead with a plug in it to seal off that hole?

I really love the rockwork around the plumbing!!!
