Many things get better with time, experience and maturity. None of us are perfect in this hobby as all have made mistakes but I for one cannot wait to see what this tank matures in to.

Thanks Mel! And im sure your gonna be right there the whole time helping me out like you already have! You right ive made some stupid mistakes in this hobby but this is gonna be my dream reef so i cant wait to compare pictures this time next year!

So been thinking alot lately and i think im going to stay away from SPS. They dont do much for me, so with that in mind im thinking all LPS and zoas! I eventually want to have as many different torches as i can get my hands on, and have a large torch garden on the left!

The on branch rock in the middle towards the front im going to take about 50 zoas( one polyp each) and glue them onto the rock and let them grow out!


I also think im going to keep nothing on the sand bed as i like the clean look.

With that being said, can you keep brains and such on rocks?

Some brains are ok with it like favia but when it comes to open brains like Trachy or Wellso they seem much happier on the sand.

ummm..yeah, you have room for a rainbow brain or TWELVE on that sand bed! I think you are doing a great job...and I love the stack...and for sure...love having you here!!!!!! Because if you weren't...tons of people would miss out on what a truly incredible tank this is going to be...because you are doing it RIGHT.

I know it wasn't you that suggested stupid short cycle times, but all the same I recall you having a rep in the community. It's good to read that you at least intend to maintain a resonable approach this time around. I wish you the absolute best of luck! Your stack looks like a great start to it. Softie, LPS is a good way to get back at it. I'll be looking forward to watching you slowly stock it with some primo goodies.
