180 stock list

so I have my 180 gallon up and cycling now. I am wondering what you guys think of the stocking list. I am for sure having 2 occ clownfish, 1 powder blue tang and 1 yellow tang. My friend currently has these housed for me, both the tangs are around 3-4 inches. I am wondering what would be some of yall's picks to stock this tank :)

This tank will have corals, mostly sps. I also will have a RBTA for the clownfish that is already hosting them in my friends tank

Wrasses. Lots of wrasses. I used to be a fan of the huge show fish but anymore I just want a bristle tooth tang and a bunch of smaller colorful fish. Makes the tank more enjoyable to see how they all interact instead of one big fish that gets territorial and gives you headaches

Since you've got the tang and clown avenue covered, I'd agree with wrasses (Fairy or flasher types, great fish.) or maybe some anthias? IMO, I'd stay away from triggers in a reef.

I thought about a trigger too but I didn't think it was safe in a reef tank. I definitely am going to get some wrasses.

I am thinking about some more tangs, what do you guys think about an atlantic blue tang (blue Caribbean tang), hippo tang, yellow eye kole tang, squaretail bristletooth tang

The Xanthichthys family (including crosshatch, red tail, blue jaw, kiri) are the only triggers you'd really even consider trying. Even then, you're still taking a gamble. Best suited for aggressive tanks.

Stock list as of now (in my friends tank till mine cycles):

1 yellow tang 3-4 inches
1 powder blue tang 3-4 inches
2 occ clownfish

Definitely going to add down the line:
Two Spot Bristletooth Tang
Yellow Eye Kole Tang
Sailfin Tang, Desjardini
Sixline Wrasse
1 female and 1 male Lyretail Anthia
Green Mandarine (not till 6-12 months after the tank is cycled)

Possibily of adding:
Copperband Butterfly fish, or will these eat SPS and other corals?
Possibily of adding a Blue Caribbean Tang

What do you guys think about this?

The bristle and yellow eye might fight. The Sailfin needs a bigger tank. The 6 line might abuse the Mandarin.

I was thinking the bristle and yellow eye may not work, if thats the case then I would switch one of them with the Blue Caribbean Tang. The salifin says 180 on LA? Would all wrasses abuse the mandarin or just the sixline?

For the Sailfin, the people on this site recommend a 240 with 8' in length. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1946079

I've seen those Caribbean tangs in the wild, beautiful, but they get huge. Imagine a very thick dinner plate swimming around in your 180.

There's other wrasses that are normally less feisty.

I would stay away from sixlines. They can just be turds in general. Something along the fairy wrasse or flasher wrasse lines would be a good choice and less aggressive.

Thanks guys.

What other tangs would you recommend then? I do not want to get one that is going to be too big.

Right now I have a powder blue and yellow tang in my friends tank till mine cycles. I want to add a yellow eye kole tang or the two spot bristle. The atlantic blue is only 125 gallon recommended on here so I think I will go with that one, I am going to be starting with small sizes because I like to see them grow. Eventually maybe I will add an Achilles Surgeonfish or a Purple Tang.

For the wrasses, I will probably go with a flasher wrasse or maybe 2.

What about the copperband butterfly fish? I would really like one of these but I am not sure if they will pick at my coral
