180G Acrylic - looking for scratch removal expert

I am about to take down my 180Gal acrylic with black background.

Is there anyone here that is skilled in the art of buffing out light scratches and getting this baby spiffed up for resale?

Are you planning to do it yourself?

I did mine (250g) and I regret it. Lots and lots of hours, ellbow grease and money for equipment.

If I had to make the decision again, I would hire a professional to do it.

i tried myself, and its alot of work, ended up taking it to get it professionally buffed.

i really hate acrylic though. its just too hard NOT to scratch it.

i think i spent 250$ having just the front and sides buffed on my tank on the inside.

I will never have another Acrylic Tank. I just have to give it a sharp look and it scratches...............:D

I sanded through 8 grades of micro mesh, used Novus and jewellers rouge and i still have scratches. It looks good but not still needs work.
I could have bought an AGA 90 and been done already.

Don't mean to hijack the thread but is it possible to use a heat gun to remove those fine scratches that refuse to be buffed out??
