It would be a lit faster but, I am also remodeling our house. We bought an auction house last year for our first house. Remodeling the house to how we want it, working the wedding and honeymoon ( Fiji was AWESOME). Now the bigger tank. This spring I need to put some finishing touches on my custom chopper and sell it. When I do relax, I might go nuts.

Finally enough water in the system. 7 bags of reef crystals. Pulled skimmer off one system and put on the new system to help clear water out, along with pulling the dual brs. Put fresh carbon in and running. Now the issue will be how ling my heater will take to heat everything up.
Once temp is good hopefully tomorrow, then I can put some seed rock in.

Picked up an additional 100lbs today. Shoe is for reference, 12".

Patience is a virtue, who ever said this never never waited for a tank to cycle.

Cycled up, moved whats left of most of my corals and one fish.

I must have watched Magoo (hippo) for two hours, to make sure everything was ok.

He broke out with acne for a few minutes then it went away and he came out. Started going nuts back and forth on the glass. Fed him a bit to make sure he was ok. Then he stated using one of the MP40s like it was a treadmill. Guess he needs to get in shape with the much larger swimming area,

Test water again tomorrow and hope to add a my two wrasses.

you shoulda used that tank cycler stuff Mr Saltwater tank uses, he swears by it and he just setup his new tank using it.

I don't trust adding chemicals. Took three weeks to cycle, not to bad.

Picked up a new fish today, stopped at reefs plus on my way home from work. This is not very good that I drive by there everyday. Well they had this sailfin that had awesome color. A nice neon around the dorsals.

Lookin good! How's Reef Plus looking? Any cool scorpionfish/lionfish/etc. when you were there?

Went there today, no scorpions or lionfish. He did have a lot of nice triggers, and pretty cool type of fox face ( not sure what kind)

Saturday my wife and I went to a lot of fish stores for my birthday and ended up not getting anything.

Advanced had some nice fish ( really nice golden and a dog face puffer)

Seems all the stores are really pushing the new radion lighting from ecotech.
I have to say I am getting sold on them to, if I only had the money. We were talking about that at reef plus. They make great pumps so there is a lot on the line with there new lighting and if it is as good as the pumps with the customer service they have, then they should be golden. If they last 17 years like predicted then they pretty much pay for themselves.
