180g Complete Walkthrough- Updated

Skeets, how does that motorized ball valve work for ya? Does it come with some sort of control device? just wondering exactly how you control it...

Congrats,

That is easily one of the best thought out tanks out there. The attention to detail, patience, proffesional approach is outstanding. Definitely an inspiration. Best to you, I look forward to seeing some updates in the future.

Looking at the cars on your website gives insight about where you get your approach when it comes to planning, attention to detail, clean lines etc.. Congrats to you both.

wow, great tank. I really like the whole setup that you have. This is definately one of the best tanks I've ever seen. Could you post a pic of the secret passage to the back of your tank? (Ah, but that will make it not a secret)

Excellent tank! I would definitely do quite a few of the things that you did if I had an unlimited budget like you do.

Right now I have the ball valve to switch every 3 minutes. You can set it to like 7 seconds or hours if you want to. However the ball valve is rated for like 2million switches and then you need to replace part of it. I personally like 3 or 4 minutes, but I know other people that do like 10 minutes.

Nice tank skeets,

What kind of MBV is it? It doesnt look like the normal OM that people use.

Thanks.

anyone know where you get those, and how you cotrol them? I assume that you need to get some sort of cotrol device in addition to the MBV...

This is unbelievable to me...you ABSOLUTELY should publish a book using this journal information..so many of us could've truly benefitted at start-up. It is an inspiration...I'm impressed to no end!!

Wow, very nice thread. I like how you threw everything out there, so that bums like me couldn't interrupt and ask dumb questions during your progress.

There is a "subscribe to this thread" button at the bottom of the page so that you dont' have to "tag" the thread, which sends everyone else subscribed an email, so we come back here to check out a post that says "tag."

Just FYI :)
