180rr and Tunze

Calling all the big tank guru's out there. I am about a month away from setting up my new 180. I currently have a 120 with 1 6101 and a 7095 contoller. I am going to add another 6101 and possibly a wave box. A few members of my local club have suggested that I run the 2 6101's and get the AC pro with the aqua surf plug in. It will allow the 6101's to act as a wave box and I will reap the benefit of having the controller. What would you guys do?

I'd go with the Aqua Controller. It can do a lot more in addition to controlling your Tunzes.

That is what I was thinking but wasnt sure if the 2 6101's would be enough circulation.

I had two 6101's with a dart return in my 120g and I wish I had more...

The AC would be nice though.

DO you think the wave box and the 2 6101's will be a better route. I am not going to run a big return pump as I want to keep flow through the sump as slow a possible and all the circulation in the tank. How about 3 6101's on the AC and ditching the wave box.

i run a dart through my sump as a return with 2 6000's.i get pretty good flow.its all about what kind of corals you want to grow.im in the process right now with a DIY wavebox so i will be giving that a shot as well to see how well it works.
