Tang is gaining weight, unsure of the switch from reg brine shrimp to spirulina brine and the addition of Nori but tang has def. put on some width everything looking good, still bummed about losing my clam, I did get store credit for it though, Bliss still has good color, the green acro looking good, I am losing a bit of color on my freebe but gaining just a touch of color on my strawberry, the blue acro is getting more color now, I did add 10% to light intensity, skimmer is kicking nitrates in the butt as I still cant detect any, acan doing well, feeding good, hammers are full extension, coraline algea coming in good, will test more tonigh after movie and dinner and dose to top off my levels, cant wait to get a Dos system going to ease the up and down of alk, Ca

Your tank looks very mature with all of the coralline algae growth. Nice fish. Watch for flame angel nipping. I'm going all tangs ang shoaling fish.

this flame has been pretty docile, the last flame was a nipper, tangs and flame tend to run together, I need more fish and more coral, bummed about the clam dieing, will wait a few months and try again, maybe by that time my nitrates will show up, I still need to mud up my fug, thanks for the compliment, coraline has taken off pretty good in the last 4 months, even better since I got my dkh right along with the rest of the levels,

I will eventually get the DOS doser, just not in the books right now, oilfield slowed way down, took too many hits to my paycheck, I do have the Apex going so its just a matter of time, I'll manually dose for right now, 100ml so far a day to keep dKh at 9.0, Ca is different animal, mg is somewhat stable at this time, as far as water changes, im going to slow down a bit, see if I can get at least a detectable Nitrate level, everything is doing well but seeing as this is my first round with sps, I'm unsure of some things but from what I have read, nitrates are a wanted item in the tank, I'll try a clam in a few months again, may leave it on the sand bed for a few months, just to let it gain in size before adding to a rock.

Check out the fishy bizness thread on Rc. They have inexpensive, awesome frag collection. They ship. They have around 800 frags at 45 and less. Typically, 35 to 20 bucks.

corals are looking great, everything is getting bigger, trumpets are splitting, hammers are getting larger, fish are doing well, shrimp are doing well, after I get rested, I check all perameters. and post some pics later

Tank is doing well, levels are stable, corals are doing very well, fish are doing great, cant wait to add some more corals to the tank as with more fish
